    GTE+ Transparency Platform launched

    On 17 November GTE+ (Gas Transmission Europe+) has launched online the GTE+ Transparency Platform. This Platform offers to its users to search for a route across the European gas transmission networks by selecting the starting and the ending points.

    First integrated network development by GTS and Gasunie Deutschland

    Gasunie subsidiaries Gas Transport Services B.V. and Gasunie Deutschland Services GmbH will carry out an integrated Open Season procedure to screen market interest for additional transmission capacity in their areas.

    New GTS publication 'Transport Insight 2008'

    Gas Transport Services (GTS), the operator of the national gas transmission network, has just published a report entitled 'Transport Insight 2008'. The yearly report is the first in a series of publications and provides the users of the gas network (shippers) with clear and coherent information, directly from the source. The report will enable them to enter into a well-informed dialogue with GTS about the development of a network that is fully in line with their requirements.

    Gas transport tariffs in the Netherlands among the lowest in North West Europe

    As in previous years, the tariffs for the transmission of natural gas in the Netherlands are among the lowest in North West Europe in 2008. This is shown from a comparative study carried out by Arthur D. Little in London.

    Platform for cross-border trade of day-ahead secondary capacity

    On 14 May 2008, APX is launching a booking platform for trade in secondary transport capacity for natural gas. The German company Trac-X has announced that it too will be offering a similar platform.
